A Private AI Video Generator: What Stays in Your Account

Your uploads and finished videos on GenSpicy sit in a media library tied to your account, and other users cannot browse it. This guide covers what you can do with those files, what the task history keeps, and the habits on your own devices that matter just as much.

Where your files go

Two places hold your work. My media, your media library, keeps completed results under Generated and your reference files under Uploads, with filters for media type and date. The generation history lists each task with its prompt, settings and status.

Both belong to your signed-in account. When you are signed out, the library asks you to sign in rather than showing anything.

Download, reuse or delete

Each item in the library has the same few actions:

  • Download saves a copy to your device. For results, you can download the original file.
  • Use reference sends an upload into a new generation without uploading it again.
  • Delete media removes the item from your library and requests cleanup of the stored file; that cleanup can take longer to finish. A reference that an active task still needs cannot be deleted yet.

Deleting a task is not deleting the video

Removing a task from the history deletes its prompt and settings from that list. The saved media stays in your library, and the credit transactions stay on your account. To remove the files themselves, delete them in My media as well.

Shared devices and screens

Much of what makes a session private happens on your side. A downloaded video sits in your downloads folder, a browser can keep you signed in, and a screen can be seen over your shoulder.

  • Sign out when you finish on a shared or borrowed computer.
  • Use a private browsing window if you do not want the session kept after you close it.
  • Check where downloads land and tidy them yourself. Deleting a file on GenSpicy does not touch copies on your device.
  • Stop screen sharing before opening your library or history.

Sharing is your choice

Your library is not a public gallery. If you want others to remake one of your results, use Share as template. The form shows the prompt that will be published and lets you add a title and an optional public handle, or stay anonymous. An editor reviews every submission, and My submissions shows its status.

Closing your account

Account settings include Delete account. Download anything you want to keep first. Deleting clears your profile and makes your prompts and media inaccessible straight away; stored files are then removed by background cleanup. Remaining credits are lost, and deletion does not issue a refund.

Some records stay: email, billing, support and safety records are kept for accounting, fraud prevention and legal obligations. Active generations and pending payments must be resolved before you can delete. The privacy policy explains what is collected and why.

Questions

Can other users see my uploads or videos?
Your library and history are private to your account, and other users cannot browse them. A result becomes public only if you submit it with Share as template and an editor approves it.
Is the video made on my own device?
No. Your prompt, reference files and settings are sent to an external generation provider, which processes them to make the video. The result is then stored in cloud storage linked to your account. The privacy policy covers how that data is handled.
Does deleting a task delete the video?
No. It removes the history entry and the saved media stays in your library. Delete the item in My media to remove it from the library and request cleanup of the stored file.
How long are my files kept?
This page does not set a retention period. Delete what you no longer want from My media, and read the privacy policy for what the service keeps and for how long.
What should I avoid uploading?
Anything you do not have the right to use. Use images of consenting adults only, and never upload minors, people whose age or consent is unclear, or someone else’s private images without their permission.
